As a member of our marketing team, your job will be to build awareness and affinity for the Wistia brand to support acquisition and overall company goals. We aim to be on the cutting edge of marketing - both in our own marketing efforts, as well as the products we build for our customers. We also want to be a constant inspiration to marketers as they interact with us in the wild.

We’re looking for a Event Marketing Manager, reporting into the Senior Director of Brand Marketing, who will be responsible for bringing our brand to life and engaging our community on the ground through in-person and hosted events and conferences. We’re looking for someone to take our current events strategy and scale it for 2024 and beyond. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a new, Wistia hosted in-person events program from ideation to execution to support our Brand and acquisition strategies.
  • Partner closely with brand marketing managers to align our events with existing Brand strategy, including but not limited to social, co-marketing, and paid media partnerships.
  • Oversee planning and execution of events and conferences, including participation and sponsorships, managing speaker prep and presentations, project managing creative requests, coordinating with creative and content.
  • Coordinate pre-event promotional activities and post-event nurture strategies with cross functional marketing and sales teams.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships and overall events program budget.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of our marketing events, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders and incorporate learnings into future strategy.
  • Be the guardian of the brand’s experience and expression to ensure consistency on all event touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders on our webinar program, aligning our virtual events strategy to our in-person events.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and analyze performance metrics.
  • Strong writing skills with experience creating compelling copy.
  • Experience managing relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Creativity, curiosity, and an aptitude for learning quickly.
