TYLin is looking for an environmental specialist to join our PMCM team!
Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring on a full-time basis the asbestos surveys to ensure the survey is performed in accordance with Project Requirements and Design criteria.
- Reviewing asbestos abatement placard documents.
- Oversee the asbestos abatement activities to ensure the asbestos abatement contractor and the project monitor peform the work in accordance with the scope.
- Perform inspections during lead disturbance work to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable Federal, State and MTA C&D regulations and procedures.
- Performing asbestos surveys as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Degree in Environmental Sciences or related field preferred with 5+ years of experience.
- Candidate should have the following certifications, NYSDOL Asbestos Supervisor, NYSDOL Asbestos Inspector.
- Candidate should preferably have the following additional certifications, NYSDOL Asbestos Designer and SSPC C3/C5 Supervisor/Competent Person for De-leading of Industrial Structures.

Additional Information
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $87,800 - $131,600 annually for this position and local market.
