Environmental Services Technician

The Environmental Services Tech II is responsible for ensuring the facility and production machinery is provided with adequate and timely custodial services.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Dismantles, cleans, sanitizes, and reassembles production machinery or production areas.
  • Inspects work area for cleanliness; completes required paperwork documenting activities.
  • Safely uses and stores cleaning materials, ensuring they are labeled correctly.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing windows, emptying trash, and recycling receptacles, replacing liners in trash cans, etc.
  • Cleans and services restrooms with disinfectants and other cleaning agents.
  • Reports maintenance concerns or repair requests to Facilities Management
  • Update safety data sheets as new chemicals are implemented.
  • May operate machinery necessary for marijuana waste disposal.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Age 21 or over
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
  • Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English.


Preferred

  • 1+ years custodial experience with knowledge of proper and safe use of custodial equipment.
  • Knowledge of chemical use and purpose.
  • Good organization and time management skills.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • Ability to be able to be in constant standing/moving position.
  • Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather.
  • Ability to ascend/descend a ladder.
