Role description:

Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to be based out of our Irvine, CA office. This full-time position within our AFS group will help manage assessment and remediation projects with oversight from senior managers and technical experts.


This position can be based in Southern California, or this role can support Southern California project remotely.  


Role accountabilities:

  • Managing scope, schedule, and budget for tasks including well installation, well abandonment, site investigation, and other field work.
  • Client and regulatory correspondence
  • Support portfolio manager with financial management
  • Technical report writing and review
  • Preparing cost estimates and proposals
  • Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
  • Coordinating work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors
  • Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
  • May require some regional travel for field visits
  • Supervise up to 10 staff


Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or closely related field
  • 8 years of experience in environmental consulting
  • 2 years of project management experience


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working for clients in the oil and gas market sector
  • Experience working with Washington State environmental regulations
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training Supervisory experience
