As an EHS Process Safety Program Manager, your work will drive the prevention of EHS incidents through hazard analysis and risk assessment including the implementation of process safety management programs and safety in design principles. You will work to ensure that a safe and healthy working environment is achieved through hazard identification, consequence analysis, risk analysis, and risk management. In addition, you will be responsiblefor identifying risks, unsafe practices, controls to mitigate risk, and ensuring compliance with Microsoft standards and applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, related field AND 4+ years experience in Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant Engineering Field or equivalent.
- 5 years of process safetyexperience and knowledge of Process Safety Managment (PSM) practices and standards
- 5 years of EHS risk assessment experienceincluding experience applying risk management tools and techniques
- Knowledge of andexperience in Process Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment methodologies
- Demonstrated capability to manage engineering, risk, process safety, and to communicate practical recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Environmental Health & Safety IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary contact in the Americas region for performing EHS risk and process safety assessments of existing facilities, new facilities, and emerging technology using proven risk assessment processes (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP)
- Developing and implementing EHS programs globally to reduce EHS riskand ensure process safety
- Collaborating with datacenter engineering to ensure technical safety matters are addressed and datacenter designs are suitable for safe operation
- Analyze EHS performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement of designs and EHS programs.
- Periodically inspecting, auditing, and reviewing designs and safe work practices to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Conducting workplace risk/exposure assessments for various classes of hazards.
- Supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis, so that corrective and preventive actions can be identified, communicated globally, and implemented.
