Engineer

Abingdon, MD

We have an excellent opportunity for an entry-level Engineer in our Abingdon, MD office.


What you will do:

You will learn and perform Environmental Site Assessments, remediation design, HAZMAT Surveys, soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater sampling, soil core logging, monitoring well installation, development and sampling, indoor air, sub slab, soil gas sampling, subcontractor management and oversight, health and safety monitoring.

What you will need:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience with environmental consulting, including field sampling procedures, remediation design and installation, analytical data interpretation and reporting.
  • PE is preferred for Engineers and PG or CPG preferred for Geologists.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft office suite) required.
  • CADD/GIS experience a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel out of state for project tasks lasting several weeks or more.
