Engagement Manager

Responsibilities:

The Engagement Manager will be working within the Business Management team in the PlayStation Studios division; responsible for planning and aligning internal communications and events across a network of development Studios and cross-functional teams.


PlayStation Studios is a complex organization with dozens of teams and thousands of people, located across three continents. You will be helping the Business Management team understand what is happening across that network, as well as throughout the SIE organization.


The role will entail:

  • Content Creation & Editing 
  • Supporting the PlayStation Studios Senior Engagement Manager with the internal communications process
  • Working across a global community of teams to share news and information through internal SIE and PlayStation Studios channels
  • Managing a calendar of PlayStation Studios editorial content and updates
  • Briefing and creating relevant internal content and ensuring it has all necessary stakeholder approvals
  • Employee Engagement Initiatives
  • Organize internal events, workshops, and communication streams to boost employee morale, motivation, and overall satisfaction
  • Develop and implement initiatives that support employee mental health and wellness awareness
  • Develop Internal Partner Relationships
  • Developing the liaison between PlayStation Studios employees and the rest of the SIE business, specifically:
  • Working with SIE Employee networks to increase PlayStation Studios awareness, involvement, and participation
  • Act as an intermediator to help teams manage new business learnings, change management, and internal networking


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a communications role at a large company, preferably within the entertainment or technology industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Able to write in different voices
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Can plan ahead, maintaining organized and thorough schedules and calendars with multiple moving parts
  • Can plan, lead, execute, measure, and improve programs

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.


Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$103,600—$155,400 USD
