District Engagement Leader

About the Team:

Our phenomenal Retail Operations team interacts with our customers in a super special way. Shopping at Rothy’s IRL is not your ordinary retail experience, so naturally, our staff is extraordinary too. Members of this team are experts in the fit, wear, and sizing of our shoes. They have deep knowledge of every style and out-of-this-world customer service skills. Our customers love shopping in stores due to the exceptional experiences they have with our Retail team.


What you’ll do: 

  • Evangelize Rothy's brand, purpose and mission - drive accountability in how this shows up in store and across all retail teams; actively champion and coach employees on Rothy's organizational values
  • Contribute to Rothy's retail strategy and initiatives with deep insights of the competitive market and internal performance indicators and metrics; advocate for the immediate and long-term needs of the retail team - balance this with a deep understanding and integration of broader business objectives and brand mission
  • Collaborate on operational improvements through recognition of trends across all retail stores; make recommendations, develop action plans and ensure adoption and execution by store teams
  • Streamline the tools and resources available to Store Managers and teams that maximize effectiveness and increase impact on customer experience; empower and guide store teams to make the best decision for the customer
  • Drive results through inspiration, celebration, and community building of store teams: offer consistent and thoughtful coaching as well as recognition of employee contributions and performance, collective and individual
  • Co-own retail talent strategy and relationship building, influencing and shaping the retail employee lifecycle to support employee recruitment, engagement, morale and development
  • Serve as department leader, as well as direct supervisor to Area Managers and Store Managers (as assigned), offering mentorship and support; drive clarity and support goal planning with clear performance expectations, consistent feedback, and frequent information sharing

You have: 

  • A minimum of 10 years Retail Leadership Experience or a B.S. in Business Management
  • A proven track record of people development
  • A high level of business acumen and the ability to maximize results
  • Skills and are proficient with platform driven technology 
  • Experience in opening new Retail locations
