Distribution Supervisor

Delta, BC

The Distribution Supervisor will supervise warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring inventory accuracy as well as inbound and outbounds shipments. They will ensure all production orders, sales orders and wholesale orders are picked in full and shipped out on time. In addition, the Distribution Supervisor is expected to work with cross functional teams to ensure production materials are delivered on time to internal partners.  


Essential Functions

  • Schedule, manage and optimize workforce plan 
  • Manage outbound & inbound processes to ensure KPI’s are achieved 
  • Ensure all inventory receiving and transfers are properly executed and performed. 
  • Ensure all sales/production orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time and in full 
  • Oversee the distribution of production materials to internal customers  
  • Liaise with appropriate departments to coordinate projects whenever required  
  • Develop and monitor internal performance reports. Ensuring throughput and quality metrics can be monitored and assessed. 
  • Analyze and compile various documents/reports/data, and recommend best solutions to management, and assist in implementation 
  • Communicate with internal/external customers, couriers, forwarders and agents to ensure accurate documentation and completion of shipments 
  • Collaborate with team members in delivering optimal Supply Chain solutions 
  • Assess and analyze current processes, recommend high value solutions pertaining to supply chain. 
  • Ensure that all compliance documentation related to the transport and storage of cannabis are properly produced and completed. 
  • Ensure compliance to Health and Safety legislation at all times.

Your Brand, Your Story

  • We already know you are passionate about supply chain and planning, but we want to know more about your story and experiences. You're good at the following: 
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role 
  • Holds Supply Chain or Transportation certifications (considered an asset) 
  • Holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Economics, or another degree/diploma (considered an asset) 
  • Has comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word, and industry standard purchase order software platforms 
  • Has experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools (considered an asset) 
  • Service -oriented and able to work effectively within a team environment 
  • Has strong negotiation and interpersonal skills 
  • Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment 
  • Has solid research skills and commitment to continually learn about new products/technologies/processes 
  • Has mathematical and analytical skills 
  • Must have the ability to maintain and pass an RCMP criminal record check and obtain security clearance.
