Director, Technology, Customer Data Architecture & Strategy

As a key leader in this role, you will oversee the development and execution of our customer data strategy and architecture, guiding the entire customer lifecycle—from acquisition and onboarding to loyalty and retention.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Customer Data Architecture: Design and lead the execution of customer data strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring effective data management for the full customer lifecycle.
  • Data Management: Implement best practices in data quality, integrity, and compliance with global standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Analytics and Insights: Collaborate with analytics teams to create actionable customer insights, supporting business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Leadership: Partner with various stakeholders to identify business requirements and drive cross-functional teams in the implementation of customer data solutions.


Tech Skills Needed: Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), API Design, Microservices Architecture, Data Governance & Security Protocols.


Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, data management, or a related discipline, with proven experience in customer data strategy.
  • Strong expertise in data governance, cloud computing, and data warehousing (AWS, Snowflake).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Certifications in data management frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Experience in the financial services or payments industry.
  • Proficiency with customer experience platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe, or Dynamics CRM.

Salary

The base salary range is $190,000-$200,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus long-term and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
