Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic leader to direct strategic planning and operations for our Collaborative Account Excellence to support best-in-class engagement and impact with customers in the oncology marketplace.


This role will be responsible for designing and ensuring execution of Collaborative Account Excellence, managing operational execution, identifying and designing new tools and processes to support this, and ensuring the high-performance of teams operating in this model.


This position will report to the head of the Oncology Business Unit and will coordinate in a matrix line with integral links to the Customer Experience team at Jazz, and with the heads of Sales, Field Medical, Field Access, Field Analytics/Operations within Jazz Oncology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and coordinating account excellence across all key stakeholders and leaders that execute Collaborative Account Management (CAM) including: Customer Experience team, Sales, Medical, Access, Marketing, Field Analytics/Operations, Marketing, Training Lead the strategic and operational direction of the Leaders for Oncology Field Team (LOFT) to ensure key priorities and execution of Account Excellence are being integrated into daily activities across the teams Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to CAM excellence, focused on outcomes and impact, progress/trends, are areas of opportunity.
  • Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders, enhancing team effectiveness and optimizing CAM impact. Define, own, and optimize the processes that drive the CAM, embedding best practices to enhance efficiency, impact, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations and IS to develop tools and resources to support successful CAM implementation, including continuing the progress on data analytics, insights, and reporting, information sharing, and account planning.
  • Continue to collaborate with Marketing/Medical/Access functions and Analytics & Insights team on how to incorporate use of AI technologies to drive insights and opportunities within CAM model and across functional roles.
  • Develop competency models, performance evaluation approaches, and development programs for CAM skills/behaviors to support success
  • Ensure that talent acquisition processes, job descriptions, candidate profiles, and hiring decisions align with the future capability needs of the organization across the various roles Partner with Training team and others to embed continuous learning and improvement in CAM, identify gaps in knowledge, and co-develop programs to upskill teams as needed.
  • Lead change initiatives related to CAM, adapting to market dynamics and organizational needs as the model continually evolves


​Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  

  • ​Bachelors, in a business discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsibility including experiences in sales/customer facing roles, sales operations, digital omnichannel experiences, and working with matrixed sales/marketing/medical/access teams
  • ​Proven track record of success and results across range of complex goals and objectives in past roles
  • ​Experienced in navigating ambiguity and change with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • ​Proven track record of leading driving execution across multi-function teams and creating a culture of accountability and results; utilizes key dashboards/KPI’s to help visualize and communicate progress and opportunities
  • ​Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong collaboration abilities, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • ​Ability to work with minimal supervision, to set priorities to meet timelines, to motivate others, and to manage budgets.
  • ​Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving and strategic abilities.
  • ​Travel will be required.


​Preferred Education and Licenses 

  • ​Masters or advanced degree
  • ​Expertise in Veeva platform and certifications as Veeva expert

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $184,000.00 - $276,000.00


Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors.


The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions.


This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.


At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
