Join our team as the Director of Social (organic) and drive visionary brand storytelling that captivates and engages our existing audience and new audiences! We are seeking a seasoned social media expert with a passion for beauty brands and a proven track record of success in integrated marketing. In this key role within the Marketing organization, you will lead the charge in defining strategy, executing cross-functional initiatives, and monitoring performance against KPIs in social media.  


You have a natural talent for bringing brands to life and obsessed for innovation on social channels, staying ahead of the curve with new trends and platforms that are authentic to the Beautycounter brand. 


In This Role You Will: 

  • Define and implement the vision and strategy for Organic Social, specifically Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Create and execute innovative marketing initiatives that drive brand love and meet business objectives
  • Work in lock steps with paid media team to ensure a 360-degree approach to marketing
  • Serve as a thought leader and work closely with internal teams including creative, product, e-commerce, and digital
  • Drive growth, engagement, and performance through social media
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring new trends and testing emerging platforms
  • Oversee content pillars and content calendar 
  • Bring our brand and mission to life through native channel/ platform strategy & assets
  • Be a key partner to the Communications team on the influencer and UGC strategy and content implementations
  • Manage and mentor a talented team of marketers who bring the vision to life
  • Conduct market and industry research to inform social media strategies
  • Develop and manage social media budgets, resources and timelines
  • Report and analyze social media performance and make recommendations for optimization


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing with a focus on Organic social
  • A passion for beauty brands and the digital/social landscape, including emerging platforms
  • Expertise in managing social media on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • A natural ability to use data, intuition, and creativity to make business decisions
  • Forward-thinking with a trend-hunting mindset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong collaborator and team player
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and juggle multiple projects and priorities with ease


Pay: $121,000 - $143,000 for work locations in the United States, with individual pay determined by several factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, and training. Salary ranges are determined in good faith by role, level, and location. As a remote-eligible job, a narrower salary range for a candidate's preferred location may be available.


Bonus: Additional compensation includes an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
