More about our Communications & Social Media Team

The Director of PR will join our Communications & Social Media team, which manages all internal and external communications, along with growing our social media presence and engaging with our community. The team is global by design, with team members across the United States and in Europe.


What we're looking for

We are looking for a Communications Director to lead corporate reputation issues, spanning both proactive and reactive efforts. You will manage media relations, M&A communications, research communications, and executive thought leadership in service of the company's broader goals. We are looking for someone who can build a thoughtful strategy, execute on communications priorities, and develop excellent relationships across the organization. You have a passion for storytelling and data-driven communications.


You will

  • Design and implement communications strategies and campaigns
  • Manage our external comms team and PR agencies, leading all corporate, financial, and product communications (spanning the Momentive, GetFeedback, and SurveyMonkey product brands)
  • Work with research, marketing, and our social impact team on individual media opportunities and broader communications programs
  • Work with company leadership to develop high-quality thought leadership in service of the organization's essential priorities
  • Build deep relationships with press, influencers, and other external stakeholders
  • Serve as comms liaison for high profile influencers and partners
  • Continue to promote Momentive as a leader in diversity and inclusion


You have

  • 10+ years of professional experience in communications, technology, or politics
  • 5+ years experience in B2B communications
  • Experience managing teams teams and influencing at the executive level and in the broader communications industry
  • Experience finding business and technology trends and incorporate them into your work.
  • Experience managing a combination of full-time employees, PR agencies, and contractors
  • Experience working with company executives and high-visibility principles
