Director of Sales Enablement

Chicago, IL

This role will act as a partner to the sales enablement & analytics team lead in managing various technology vendor relationships, liaising between Marsh IT and the business in implementing new sales enablement tools, and developing strategic and insightful success metrics for tracking the ROI and adoption of these tools.  The incumbent will manage large sales enablement projects and be the product owner for the various platforms.

  • Explore new sales enablement tools and assess usability
  • Turn data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the business owners
  • Collect business requirements and collaborate with IT on developing the right solutions
  • Be able to think strategically and align the product roadmaps with the overall Marsh strategy
  • Develop, own, and execute product roadmap
  • Manage product rollout and the post-rollout change management effort (liaise with internal experts or third-party owners)

We will count on you to:

  • Work in an agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks
  • Partners with stakeholders and business leaders across the organization to inform product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership teams across the globe to develop roadmaps for the sales enablement tools
  • Prepare presentation materials for meetings with RSL, regional coordinators, and other interested parties
  • Build and maintain a community with the RFP/IMPACT team


What you need to have: 

  • B.A. in Business Administration or other social science fields, graduate degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of product or project development experience
  • Salesforce CRM experience required
  • Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
