As a Director of Sales for the strategic Banking Vertical here at Genesys, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for many of our largest accounts. You will work closely with our executive leadership on the go-to-market planning and execution.


What do you need to have?

  • Management experience within the large enterprise account space; specific experience and executive relationships within US banking accounts would be a plus
  • Track record developing strategic relationships within the enterprise account space, building executive relationships, driving innovation, growing new pipeline/business development, and developing strategic long-term account plans
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, coaching, developing, and training account executives, preferred public sector experience
  • Proven experience communicating, negotiating, and helping Account Executives close deals with key executives and stakeholders
  • Ability and desire to participate in strategic and tactical planning for the team and region
  • Be a "High Energy", results-oriented achiever and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment
  • 5+ years of sales management experience (Cloud or SaaS-based software sales preferred)
  • Confirmed ability to lead complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
