The Director of Merchandising, Levi’s® Global Men’s Tops executes consumer focused, growth-driving, global category strategies for the business. You will lead, empower, develop, and engage the Men’s Tops Global Merchandising team to exceed financial goals and consumer expectations following the brand vision.


You will build the category vision, and lead execution through a responsive global product architecture, that delivers on the long-range growth programs. You will model and inspire a consumer-focused, growth-minded, and team-oriented approach, while driving important product-led growth initiatives across the globe.

 

About the Job

  • You will report into the VP, Global Men's Merchandising
  • Create and amplify the global category vision, assortment strategy and product architecture for the Levi’s® Men’s Tops business, to deliver accelerated, sustainable, profitable category growth  
  • Build and deliver a consumer-focused, brand-right, compelling global product offer, that unlocks consumer opportunities, grows market share, and meets financial goals
  • Shape long-range category plans, to build strategic, enterprise level product capabilities
  • Communicate the global merchandising vision, strategy and direction with important internal & external partners, to promote engagement, and successful execution against shared priorities
  • Cultivate relationships with the clusters, markets, partners & customers
  • Track and deliver rich, data-driven qualitative and quantitative product performance feedback
  • Identify market opportunities, informed by an understanding of global & local consumer needs, cultural influences, trends, and competitor & marketplace insights
  • Lead the team through the Global go-to-market milestones, while unlocking agility and speed-to-market capabilities
  • Spend time-in-market & travel, to deepen consumer understanding, develop partnerships, and unlock opportunities
  • Engage, empower, and lead a multi-level team that is focused on the consumer and marketplace, culturally connected, dedicated to building, and committed to winning together


About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 15+ years of experience within the apparel industry
  • Working knowledge of Apparel Merchandising
  • Ability to build a long-term Strategic Vision
  • Experience developing business processes and managing complex projects
  • Work with and influence executive level leaders
  • Collaboration skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Experienced in leading a team and managing people and direct reports


The expected starting salary range for this role is $142,100 - $215,200. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
