Bumble is looking for a Director of Global Product Marketing to lead the intersection of product and marketing. Reporting directly to the VP, Global Marketing, you will own go-to-market strategies for new features, promoting feature adoption targeted towards retention. A strong multitasker and hands on manager, you will have a strong role in creating, executing and managing the product roadmap. You will be responsible for promoting in ways that strengthen the Bumble brand and increase monthly active users. As the voice of our users, you are in touch with relevancy and the cultural zeitgeist. You will drive cross functional efforts to launch new and enduring features that drive market share and influence product and marketing decisions to meet user needs. An experienced people manager, you will cultivate, build and advocate for the product marketing team.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and define go-to-market efforts globally to support product launched and scaled adoption
  • Build marketing position and messaging, and champion the user voice in roadmap decisions 
  • Partner with departments to better understand community needs, competitive landscape,e and consumer trends that translate into tangible hypotheses for experimentation
  • influence product and business decisions
  • Collaborate with global market leads to distill and surface market intel to shape future products 
  • Act as a partner to the product management, design, and UX copywriting teams 
  • Develop briefs and drive asset development for product marketing initiatives with our marketing, creative, and design teams to fuel brand, lifecycle and acquisition channels
  • Support the culture of marketing as a mission and data driven, user-centric organization
  • Grow user base and revenue


Experience We Are Looking For:

  • Proven consumer product marketing experience, having led entire product development cycle from concept to introduction and global PMM teams and projects 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to translate conceptual initiatives into detailed operating plans with the support of, and for execution across, multiple internal teams
  • Dedicated history of hands-on style of working and management, willing to roll up sleeves and work with teams versus delegating to others
  • Natural communicator who effortlessly takes complex technology solutions and crafts simple, powerful and compelling audience specific propositions
  • Experience flexing project management skills to prioritize tasks and align across teams
  • Proven track record in identifying and targeting multiple customer segments with bespoke positioning and marketing content
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities, working with them to align and gain approval for the product / solution roadmap
  • Driven to support the business to grow user base & revenue
  • Experience working cross-functionally as the center of excellence for all things product marketing-related within a marketing team
