Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

As the Director of Culture, Diversity & Inclusion and an essential member of the Talent team, you will have the exciting opportunity to build and execute a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen Frontier’s dedication to culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Understanding the changing landscape and working closely with our internal teams and community partners, you will build a strategic, agile approach that incorporates both tactical and programmatic work that can adjust and adapt to the growing needs of the organization. This role is in Dallas, Texas, and reports to the SVP of Talent for Frontier Communications. 


In this role you can expect to:

  • Set a bold cultural aspiration and strategy by working with business stakeholders to determine the ideal cultural north star that boosts employee engagement and significantly advances diversity outcomes; translate vision into a tactical, year-long roadmap.
  • Recognize, build, integrate and promote sustainable DE&I solutions and plans that create and foster an open and inclusive environment through focused recruitment, retention, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team on setting and achieving hiring goals. Recommend strategies and partnerships that stand out as creative hiring practices, and act as a resource for recruitment strategies for underrepresented communities.
  • Collaborate with Employer Branding to establish market presence as an ‘employer of choice’ and amplify our messages and the work we are doing with regards to DE&I
  • Network with other leading organizations on DE&I standard methodologies and represent the company with external partners in the community and national organizations.
  • Increase awareness and establish accountabilities to attract and retain underrepresented candidates by collecting, analyzing, and communicating metrics.

 

You need:

  • Track record as a DE&I champion; acknowledged as a strategist and advisor
  • High energy and ability to lead in a complex, fast-paced structure with a high tolerance for ambiguity and change
  • Strong leadership capabilities, ability to influence and lead
  • Change agent with the ability to innovate, execute and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical skills & problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Excellent active listening skills; and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills


Experience Requirement

  • 8+ years’ experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion programs
  • Depth of expertise and understanding of DE&I principles and subsequent compliance
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree. Human Resources or related subject area preferred
