Director of Account Management

New York, NY

Barstool Sports is looking for a Director or Account Management to join our growing Ad Sales team. This individual will support our performance business and manage clients at varying tiers of revenue. The ideal candidate is someone who is familiar with the Barstool Sports brand, has exceptional communication skills, and is able to work cross-functionally with multiple departments across the company, including our Content teams. This role will be extremely impactful in connecting our current and future advertisers with Barstool fans at a high level.


What You'll Do

  • Day to day owner of Account Management functions
  • Oversee a team of 10+ Account Managers
  • Be the internal champion between various stakeholders including, Sales, Client, and Production and effectively communicate on behalf of them to the sales team
  • Owner of process oversight
  • Partner with VP of Rev Strategy and Head of Sales on long term planning
  • Monitor and incorporate feedback from the client and/or the internal team for continuous workflow improvement
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Talent, Production, Data, and Finance teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives


What You Have

  • 10+ years of media or marketing experience with agency background desirable
  • Experience managing a team
  • Deep digital understanding & knowledgeable about Barstool Sports
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong Excel and PPT skills
  • Be process oriented
  • Project manage multiple priorities at once with ambitious deadlines


Pay Range: $150,000- $175,000
