Director, Marketing Communications
The Director of Marketing Communications is responsible for Marketing Retention strategy to support company vision and objectives. Accountable for lifecycle management, segmentation and customer journeys. This person will create the strategic roadmap, plans and will drive the implementation of those plans.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Oversee and direct teams in the development of Marketing, Retention and customer experience strategies (e.g, Video, Internet, Voice, Mobile). This includes specialty and strategic programs
Lead the execution of lifecycle marketing strategies and programs; using data driven ideation, test and rapidly iterate framework
Continually evaluate customer behavior and uncover opportunities and influence strategies and tactics
Be the expert on the customer journey and the behavior of all audiences
Distill core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood solutions
Responsible for churn and save metrics to inform and create campaigns
Must have the ability to work independently and navigate / manage through ambiguity
Liaison with all cross-functional teams including, Engineering, Legal, Government Affairs, Product, Programming, Customer and Field Operations
Support Marketing Communicatons, Product and Programming activity
Owns relative vendor relationships. Oversight of automation and changes to the experience
Responsible for managing the budget, reforecast, expense tracking and accrual process
Cultivate team and its members. Align activites with company vision and provide appropriate guidance and direction

Education
Undergraduate degree required / MBA preferred
Prefer technical degree related to the telecommunications field, individual coursework related to telecommunications field, attendance of telecommunications seminars

- Demonstrated achievement of business goals/results - 8+ years
- Experience managing multiple projects/tasks concurrently - 8+ years
- Experience Consumer Product management - 7 years
- Related industry experience - 7 years
- Proven strong interpersonal relationships required
- Cable, Internet, Mobile and/or Web 2.0 industry experience required
- Extensive Product Management, material P&L accountability, and/or Corporate Strategy experience
