DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Defines cybersecurity vision, strategy, and best practices in support of corporate environment and services supporting gaming platforms.
  • Organizes efforts for architecting, integrating, piloting, and developing cybersecurity programs and standards
  • Manages implementation and delivery in cybersecurity tools and practices in cooperation with IT Leadership
  • Coordinates cybersecurity incident management processes with Nintendo IT and Legal entities
  • Develops enterprise vision, strategic and tactical plans for cybersecurity technology and practices
  • Works with global Nintendo IT and business executives to create roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources based upon company goals, business opportunities, risk analysis and financial objectives
  • Leads delivery of key security programs, solutions, and capabilities to constituents of IT across Nintendo
  • Organizes and manages cybersecurity programs across Nintendo of America responsible entities
  • Identifies and negotiates contracts with external technology vendors
  • Monitors technical cybersecurity trends and best practices and ensures the enterprise is apprised of relevant and impactful trends and best practices
  • Manages $5-10 million security budgets, in coordination with global teams and vendors involved in execution


SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in in a combination of risk management, information security and IT with at least 3 years in a management role
  • In-depth understanding of Information Technology Organization, Processes, Procedures, Controls, Standards, Platforms, Technologies, and Best Practices.
  • In-depth understanding of video game distribution business and industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of corporate polices and compliance (i.e. information security, privacy, PCI, SOX/JSOX, risk management, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage, organize, oversee, and deliver several large high risk/visibility and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ITIL, COBIT or similar
  • Experience with contract and vendor negotiations
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a cybersecurity focus or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent industry training or experience preferred.
  • Professional security management certification preferred, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials
