Director, Human Resources

Woodinville, WA

Precor is looking for a Head of Human Resources to support our global business. This person is responsible for, but not limited to, the overall people function, including the day-to-day operations of the staffing, benefits, payroll, employee relations, learning & development, support services, and financial HR budget. This role will build and grow an end-to-end operational Human Resources function and is the primary leadership support to senior leaders in Precor, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.


YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Works together with business leaders to continually improve organizational structure, programs, and activities that support and ensure the scaling of our business throughout the Precor organization
  • Oversees an infrastructure of planned onboarding, training, and development activity for all team members according to the Global programs and standards
  • Responsible for labor relations in accordance with Precor and local/geographical standards
  • Implement recruitment and selection programs that attract quality, enthusiastic, and well-qualified team members who will bring expertise to the organization
  • Prepare salary forecasts and Human Resources budgets together with the Finance Team and Sr Leadership
  • Manage the operation of an efficient and accurate HR technology in order to meet statutory, legal, and internal company requirements
  • Manage the open enrollment process and own relationships with external vendors 
  • Provide a counseling and advisory service to all employees and manage all grievance and disciplinary proceedings, adhering to company, and legal requirements
  • Develop a team of Human Resources professionals who are focused on delivering a best in class employee experience to the Precor team


YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 8+ years working in generalist Human Resources management required proficiency, knowledge, and experience in all HR processes: selection & employment (sourcing strategies, interviewing skills, employment laws, on-boarding), employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, payroll administration, workers compensation, and talent management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, influencing, and relationship-building across functions
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Suites
  • Knowledge of and experience with HR systems (ATS, HRIS, Performance Management)
  • Experience in coaching and providing training for business partners, managers, and hourly team members
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, including group facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience in coaching and providing training for business partners and managers
  • Solid understanding of the local, state, and federal labor laws
  • Experience leading a cross-functional HR team at a multinational organization
  • Expertise in both high volume and specialized recruitment for a multinational
  • Proven track record of building and developing HR professionals
  • Demonstrable track record to influence business stakeholders and Sr Leadership
  • Experience partnering with a PEO


Base Salary: $158,000-$213,000


The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
