Director, Global & US Marketing
Role Objectives:
Deliver annual BDO for portfolio in partnership with design lead and category leadership, presented to the Sr. Leadership Team. Beginning with the financial planning process, identify growth opportunities, across owned IP and Licensed brands, within white space product/category opportunities to guide marketing and development teams. Guide team to deliver brand development, line plan architecture, profit and loss management, assets development, content and digital programs managed within agreed annual budget.
Lead an effective team who can collaborate across key territories and cross-functional teams to ensure an impactful brand and asset program is executed on time and to budget.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in related marketing functions/roles.
- Relevant academic qualifications in a related field eg. Bachelor of Marketing; MBA preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of the toy industry and consumer marketing to children highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Brand Management
- Partner with Local Dir to develop the Global and US Category Strategy, delivering the overall portfolio level gross sales, gross margin, and direct contribution targets on a yearly basis.
- Lead 3-year Strategic plan across P&L, A&P Budget, and SG&A to guide teams to deliver against financial objectives.
- Lead Brand Franchise plans, incl. positioning & best-in-class go-to-market strategies in partnership with the Marketing communications lead to deliver global direction and brand launch alignment.
- Lead global toy launch strategy for WoW brands with 5-year outlook, presented to Marketing leadership team to guide future BDO development, outlining white-space opportunities to chase.
- Partner with Franchise team to develop Integrated Marketing Strategic Vision and sign-off on final go-to-market plans for all DTR markets.
- Final approval for all comms strategic 360 marketing plans, assets and launch timing.
- Oversee workloads, performance, and development of direct (and if required, indirect) reports towards the achievement of agreed objectives, KPI’s, through the provision of clear direction, support, coaching and review in-line with the Moose Performance Management Program.
- Manage team to deliver P&L deliverables from ideation to execution, ensuring all communication touch points and assets ladder up to the overall brand strategy, focusing on consumer benefits and features.
People Management Responsibilities
- Regularly review resourcing requirements for the department and recruits, interviews, selects and trains new staff;
- Oversee the day-to-day workloads and performance of direct reports towards the achievement of agreed objectives, through the provision of clear direction, coaching and support;
- Work with direct reports to set individual KPIs, and conduct regular reviews in-line with the Moose Performance Management Program;
- Manage the training and professional development of team members, with an emphasis on providing timely and constructive feedback on a regular basis; and
- Champion the Moose culture to ensure direct reports deliver on The Wow

Work Hours:
- 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday
- 8:30am – 3:00pm, Friday
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
- Plus, reasonable additional hours due to multiple time-zones.
- Moose also provides flexible working options.

Requires up to 20% travel.

USD $133,000 - $167,000
