Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

We are eagerly seeking a new Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to be a key member of our growing Financial Management team. You will be taking on a highly visible role coordinating Scantron’s Strategic Technology Solutions business including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and presentation support for our executive leadership team. If you’re that strategic thinker with the ability to influence others to drive change and continuous improvement in a thriving technology business unit, you’ll love taking on this role within the Scantron family. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the production of monthly financial analysis models necessary to support reporting against the long-term strategy of Scantron STS, driving fact-based financial analysis that result in better management decisions
  • Own the coordination of a standard internal reporting package for the Scantron STS executive leadership team
  • Reduce time in report generation and increase time in analysis of results
  • Facilitate preparation of forecasts using a standard forecasting model to include revenue, expense, profitability, capital, and headcount. Improve the process as needed
  • Preparation of Ad Hoc reports, models and analysis in support of Company management
  • Business support for STS Leadership, G&A, Accounting, and Shared Services
  • Coordinate the budgeting process including providing financial models to support management in strategic direction
  • Mid-month reporting activities to track progress against the forecast
  • Proactively assist the Company in identifying opportunities for operational improvements and cost reductions


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. Master’s degree preferred CPA Certification a plus
  • 10+ years’ work experience managing financial forecasting, budgeting, pricing & reporting activities in a technology company
  • Proven experience preparing and presenting to senior leadership in a mid to large size company
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple business units including Operations and Sales Leadership
  • Proven experience using Oracle, Adaptive & ESSbase to develop and improve reporting
