Digital Production Designer

Beaverton, OR

The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for relentless improvement of the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.   


The eCommerce Creative team is looking for a Digital Production Designer who applies their creativity, eye for details, and technical skills to the challenge of implementing design across a variety of Columbia’s digital marketing channels. Organizational skills are key – not only building, naming and organizing files, but collaborating with teammates across disciplines to clarify requirements, goals, expectations, and timelines.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Prepare assets for, and authoring simple site promotions, emails, and content banners within our web content management system AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Work within and advocate for the production constraints of each channel; share (and document) your knowledge and perspective with your peers.
  • Partner with copywriters to develop and design new layouts and imagery within established design systems.
  • Manage work tasks using JIRA, Slack, Workfront.


YOU ARE 

  • Able to juggle a mix of large and small projects, often with overlapping priority and urgency.
  • Capable of continually adopting new tools and practices as the work evolves.
  • An eagle eye, keeping an eye on the “small” stuff


YOU HAVE 

  • High school degree or equivalent. (BFA/BA in Interactive Design or Visual Design a plus.)
  • 2-3 years of digital design or production experience in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Agency Experience a plus.
