Digital Marketing Manager

At Shelf Engine, our mission is to reduce food waste through automation. We harness the power of AI to provide real-time, intelligent forecasting for food retailers like grocery stores, restaurants, and cafes across the United States. We’re able to drastically reduce the amount of food waste which in turn drives profit for retailers, lowers costs for consumers, and reduces the negative ecological and social impacts of waste. 


Shelf Engine is searching for a talented Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team and report directly to our Head of Marketing. In this role, you will work with multiple teams across functions to help elevate our brand across every viable channel. The goal is to help Shelf Engine create and execute effective marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition. This is a job for a highly-skilled technical marketer who is comfortable with launching large scale paid campaigns across search, social, trade publications, affiliate networks, and outdoor media companies. It’s a dynamic role with incredible opportunities to learn, grow, and take on a significant leadership role in one of the fastest growing startups in Seattle.


This position is based in Seattle, WA, or remote. 

 

As a Digital Marketing Manager at Shelf Engine, you will:

  • Develop the strategy, plans, and forecasts for paid acquisition programs, enabling ROI optimization.
  • Drive funnel acquisition through performance marketing activities on major digital platforms including search, social, display and content syndication.
  • You will lead in analyzing the effectiveness of your campaigns, and have the confidence to test and learn until you find something that works - and cut things that don’t.
  • Develop and own dashboards to monitor overall channel performance.
  • Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with marketing peers to ensure proper lead attribution of channels you manage.
  • Explore new channels for growth marketing opportunities.
  • Partner closely with internal teams including creative, analytics, field operations, engineering, and product marketing.
  • Partner with customer success teams to align on strategy, content, deployment, and measurement of campaigns that help grow existing accounts.
  • Ensure all content creation (including video, creative, product, brand) is consistent with overall brand strategy and drives incremental value in campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with growth and web teams to optimize the customer experience and landing page effectiveness to continuously improve conversion rates.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

 

And here’s what we think would make a great Digital Marketing Manager:

  • 6+ years of experience in a B2B digital marketing role in technology.
  • A strong track record of successfully managing digital campaigns that meet and exceed KPIs to drive pipeline and revenue growth for the business.
  • Experience in targeting and converting B2B decision makers and technical audiences in a wide variety of channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Quora, and others.
  • Strong working knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills, experience with Tableau is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as listening and interpretation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the needs of different audiences.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver, willing to take risks and able to problem solve in real-time.
  • Ability to establish and manage priorities and drive projects to completion.
  • Able to recognize potential obstacles and proactively suggest work-arounds.
  • Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation technology, preferably Pardot.
  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
