Digital Designer, eCommerce

As a Digital Designer / Production Artist you will produce end-to-end eCommerce graphics to deliver best-in-class digital presence across Newell Brands’ direct and indirect eCommerce sites. You’ll collaborate, concept, and innovate to create cutting-edge content that’s optimized for a vast digital landscape, while delivering a clear, consistent brand message.


Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with internal teams as well as with 3rd parties to deliver best-in-class digital shelf execution for various retailer and DTC websites
  • Concept, design and implementation of assets for website, social and emails with a mobile-first lens
  • Iterate existing content with a user-centric approach and up-to-date trends and information
  • Design, maintain and archive pixel-perfect assets for all eCommerce digital content
  • Execute visual asset creation, editing and retouching using Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects and other Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Optimize and localize content for LATAM using translations and suitable graphic assets
  • Develop Photoshop automation and Excel macro skills to support mass asset production and maintenance
  • Ensure visual consistency of images, maintain corporate brand standards and style guidelines
  • Use asset storage platforms to retrieve appropriate assets for online content production
  • Improve design ways of working to find areas of opportunity to improve efficiency


Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience executing digital commercial assets for email, websites, and social media
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and After Effects
  • Up-to-date, hands-on understanding of best practices in eCommerce design
  • Detail-oriented and deadline focused with attention to detail both in content strategy and graphic requirements
  • Multi-task, strong project planning, tracking and organizational skills while working on several brands daily
  • Hands-on experience in Digital Shelf and Enhance Web design on retailer websites and Direct to Consumer preferred


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce, visual storytelling and marketing
  • Ability to operate independently once given directions, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised with a problem-solving mindset
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of basic principles of UX/UI
  • Video editing/motion graphics experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Self-starter and a collaborative, enthusiastic team player
