Connected Consumer Experience Intern

The Nike Connected Consumer Experiences team is responsible for shaping the future of Nike’s Partner Marketplace to better serve consumers through connected member experiences. Through the One Nike Marketplace strategy, we will extend and globally scale Nike Member benefits and experiences online and in-store. 


Our team is searching for a consumer experience design enthusiast to work with our wholesale Partners to execute digital online and offline member-enhancing experiences. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of consumer experience design, a test & learn mentality and obsess the consumer through data & insights.


Digital Flagship and Activity Internship

The Digital Flagship & Activity team is responsible for shaping the future of Nike.com, Nike App, Nike Running Club and Nike Training Club and innovating how we connect with our consumers and accelerate commerce through some our fastest growing channels. Working closely with partners across the organization, we bring seasonal and evergreen storytelling, products, content and services to life across our digital portfolio and drive the development of capabilities and features that result in a world class experience for Nike members.


The Digital Flagship & Activity MBA intern will help the team to critically evaluate consumer journeys across Nike’s flagship properties, unpacking analytical insights, benchmarking our competitive set and exposing gaps in consumer experiences. They will partner with cross-functional teams to understand Nike’s current processes, teams and tools and propose a set of consumer-facing actions aligned to Nike Direct Digital Commerce strategic objectives.


The ideal candidate has a passion for developing consumer-centric strategies and commercial experiences across digital channels. They ideally have a background in e-commerce an are an innovative problem solver. They will be data driven and consumer obsessed, and able to seamlessly move between forward-thinking and tactical implementation. 


Digital Commerce Post-Purchase Experience Intern

We transform traditional retail by utilizing unique digital operating models and capabilities and our mission is to drive membership, re-engagement and profitable growth creating reliable, convenient, thoughtful and sustainable post-purchase journeys. We obsess six power moments: purchase, track, receive, unbox, return & re-engagement.


The Global Digital Commerce intern will contribute to create the future of the function and Nike omni-channel experiences. They will focus on growth projects, such as: assess competitive trends and disruptive innovation in the marketplace; uncover opportunities to drive operational excellence and O2O re-engagement through service innovation, and will formulate recommendations to move from strategy to execution


The ideal candidate has a passion for developing consumer-centric strategies and commercial experiences across digital channels. They ideally have a background in e-commerce an are an innovative problem solver. They will be data driven and consumer obsessed, and able to seamlessly move between forward-thinking and tactical implementation


  • 3-5+ years consumer experience design; strong retail analytics and business acumen
  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or MBA with a graduation date of December 2021 or May/June 2022
  • Understanding of brand enhancing consumer journeys, consumer insights, analytics and digital experience benchmarking to deliver elevated experiences across the marketplace
  • Obsesses the consumer experience
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and present in a comprehensive and easily digestible formats.
  • Experience working with teams to produce playbooks, toolkits, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively
  • Must excel working in roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
  • Proven track record of being results oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals
  • Passion for retail and business model innovation
  • Standout "can do" attitude and enthusiasm to drive Nike forward
  • Consumer Product Management or Digital Consulting experience preferred
  • Digital analytics experience preferred
