Digital Art Director

Atlanta, GA

As Digital Art Director, you have broad multichannel experience, including direct management of Social, Web and Email channels. You inspire your team and our customers by delivering eye catching and memorable creative.


Responsible for leading a diverse team, guiding digital design from concept through production, reviewing work, problem-solving and providing concise feedback. This position will focus on creative excellence, partnering with Marketing, Content, Brand, Web Production and Operations teams to ensure business and strategic objectives are met.


Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience working on large-scale digital campaigns including web, social and email executions.
  • Ability to think strategically on your own as well as in a group.
  • Ability to create strong brand standards and be a steward for already established standards.
  • Exceptional verbal presentation and written communication skills.
  • Uncompromising passion for great work.
  • Superb organizational skills to coordinate complicated projects over extended timelines.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (XD is a bonus).
  • Experience with project management systems. (WorkFront is a bonus)
  • Ability to talk technical jargon with developer team, but no coding skills necessary.
  • Experience working with a digital asset management system.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Leads the digital creative team managing day to day creative process and execution for Digital Advertising. Drives collaborative and integrated campaigns across channels. Ensure creative aligns with strategic and creative briefs.
  • Works closely with agency partners and other Marketing channels to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment to brand standards.
  • Creates a culture of innovative thinking and problem solving. Proactively identify and resolve issues that might impair the team's ability to meet goals and objectives.
  • Leads new media/forward thinking opportunities and technology solutions for improving channel efficiency and creative performance. Optimizes creative processes to meet deadlines, manage budgets and streamline workflows enabling production as scale.
  • Responsible for performance management, mentoring and training for the internal team. Help facilitate the creative departments reinvention to foster a culture of innovation and speed to market.
  • Strong focus on full project lifecycle including measuring KPIs as it relates to creative outputs.


Working Conditions (travel & environment)

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.


PHYSICAL/SENSORY   REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
