Developer

High Moon Studio is an all-female branding agency located in Los Angeles (with employees working worldwide) looking for a front-end developer to support our growing team with client and internal projects, and take an active role in bridging the gap between design and technical implementation. 


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Collaborating with our UX designers to bring wireframe concepts to life 
  • Determining the structure and design of web pages that strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality
  • Producing, maintaining and modifying websites and user interfaces
  • Helping clients with troubleshooting, website issues and bugs as they arise 
  • Ensuring high quality standards and brand consistency 
  • Staying up to date on emerging technologies 


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Front-end Developer
  • Strong programming skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript & jQuery
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process [ design, development and deployment ] 
  • Practical insight into the fundamental principles of design and typography
  • Experience working with Shopify, Webflow & Showit
  • The ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment 
  • Good problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great attention to detail


An advantage to have:

  • A good understanding of e-commerce store functionality, integrations, and requirements
  • WordPress development experience
  • Experience using XD Wireframes
  • Email marketing experience
  • Design capabilities


Job Type: Full-time ideally, but open to part-time or per-project work 


Location: Los Angeles or surrounding area preferred, but not required. Remote work.
