The Music Mission team owns Spotify’s end to end proposition for music creators and the experiences they build for fans. The team is dedicated to building tools and services to enable creation, promotion, expression, and monetization at scale.

The Music Promotion and Spotify for Artists (S4A) team is focused on enabling artists and teams to access streaming and listener data and extract meaningful insights. They also build campaign tools to help artists promote their music, grow their audience, and their careers.

  • Lead projects across the entire product lifecycle — from concept to MVP to rollout and beyond. You set the vision for the experience and build space for others to collaborate.
  • Bring user-centric thinking to technically sophisticated problems. We craft user outcomes that are powered by machine learning models. It’s important to not to lose sight of the needs of the listener and the creator.

  • Promote your team’s work to drive alignment across the other teams.
  • Proactively look for and tackle high-level issues and opportunities.

Who You Are

  • You have a keen eye for detail and can give effective direction and direct feedback to designers on the team — we appreciate radical candor!
  • You’re an excellent communicator, both written and verbal. You have the communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts. You also have the ability to mentor others to deliver work, and make strategy come to life.
  • You solve opportunities that are ambiguous and vague and can lead with a perspective. You do this by understanding the people involved in the project, what the project needs, and using everyone’s strengths to achieve the project’s goals.
  • You have an online portfolio or PDF that you can share with us. A link to your online portfolio, or a PDF, is required. Applications without a portfolio are unlikely to be considered.
