Design Assistant
This role will be located in ThirdLove's San Francisco office once reopened. We accepts applications from those located in California or open to relocate.

Are you passionate about design and development? ThirdLove is seeking an Assistant Designer to assist in executing all areas of the design and development process.
In this role you will work closely with the design and development teams to help deliver products that meet the company standards and support Thirdlove’s growth of becoming the next big lifestyle brand.
Traditionally, women were given a choice between two options when it came to their bras and underwear: Be sexy, or be comfortable. Our Cofounders: Dave Spector, Heidi Zak, and Ra’el Cohen, thought that was outdated too — so, in 2013, they created ThirdLove — a third, better option, which doesn’t force us to choose between being sexy or comfortable. THE JOB:
- Work closely with design team on concept development, researching emerging trends to Production
- Assist in the development of raw materials and communication
- Update and maintain technical flats, design sheets, BOM’s and colored storyboards through PLM system
- Assist in building and own updating and maintaining color palette and charts and communicating print development
- Contribute and assist in meetings and presentation preparation
- Organize and maintain sample library and design space
- Attend fittings, taking notes and pictures to understand the fundamentals of product fit across categories
- Book fittings and models
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in design or product development
- Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- Bachelor’s degree
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent sense of color matching
- Outgoing, professional, and eager to take on responsibility
- Passion for startups and ecommerce a must
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with PLM advantageous
