Design Assistant
Huckberry is looking for a hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented individual to assist the Design Team with meeting important milestones. This individual will be working closely with our in-house designers to keep them on track and will have the opportunity to contribute to collections across multiple brands. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a love for creating best-in-class products!
This role is based out of our headquarters in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- Assist designers to create thorough design handoffs
- Help manage lab dips, materials, and trim development
- Assist with creating preseason mood boards and research
- Assist with linesheet development
- Create material libraries in PLM system
- Create and manage seasonal style binders
- Manage style/swatch reference submissions with factories
- Effectively communicate with factories and vendor
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience
- Insanely organized
- Detail-oriented
- Deadline driven
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
