Delivery Coordinator/Manager

Troy, MI

Cloud Cannabis Co. is seeking a motivated individual with experience managing personnel, coordinating logistics, and providing top notch customer service. The successful candidate must have experience scheduling, vehicle dispatch, and order fulfillment. They will oversee the launch and maintenance of our custom cannabis ordering and delivery platform while also assisting in troubleshooting problems that may arise.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of emerging delivery service in all retail locations in Michigan (10+ locations)
  • Implementation of policies and procedures
  • Recruit, hire and train all new employees
  • Reporting - manage, update and report daily facility activity using excel & company software system.
  • Auditing for Accuracy - lead daily auditing practices, enforce team in tracking reporting activity.
  • Coordination with departmental teams to facilitate the operational flow across departments with product development, orders, production, compliance, distribution, accounting, and inventory divisions.
  • Dispatch and coordinate all drivers and ensure products are delivered on time
  • Maintain organization of delivery area
  • Ensure the delivery team has the equipment and resources they need to complete day to day tasks
  • Use of technology including Leaflogix, Dutchie, Onfleet, METRC, and debit readers
  • Guide customers to appropriate resources including website and internet menus
  • Coach employees to motivate performance and engagement; provide regular feedback; address performance issues as they arise; identify training and development needs and coordinate with HR to provide opportunities
  • Provide and/or assist with driver training for both new hires and periodic refresher training for existing team members
  • Ensuring all delivery employees are following SOPs as well as adhering to all state regulatory guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Strong background on compliance with state regulations and ability to implement updates as needed.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel
  • Effective departmental leadership skills
  • Strong focus on efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analytical mind with strong math skills
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to learn and become knowledgeable of state cannabis regulations
  • Liaison with the Operations and Marketing team for ordering and promotions
  • Serve as main point of contact to delivery staff and inventory manager to communicate product needs and feedback
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be approved to receive an Agent badge/pass CORI check
  • Physical demands – May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment
