Deal Desk Analyst

Remote (United States)

As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will ensure sales opportunities and deals are correctly constructed, advocate best pricing to maximize revenue, and address the complex details involved in a non-standard contract process to ensure the deal is completed promptly. You will work closely with Yubico's supply chain, order management, sales operations, and finance teams, to make sure deals are completed as seamlessly as possible.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Works as a strategic advisor for Enterprise sales teams on deal structures and quoting requirements, advises the team on alternative solutions to help drive deal closure. Includes construction of complex and non-standard Deal Structure in Salesforce
  • Supports Deal Desk team in a sales support channel to provide general assistance and advice related to common deal and Quote to Cash process questions
  • Monitors and coordinates operations in the Quote Approval and Opportunity Approvals queue, consistently maintaining response time SLAs
  • Identifying cases which require interpretation of contractual language, escalating to ensure deals comply with revenue recognition and operational policies
  • Partners with Enablement, Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Sales Leadership to accelerate quoting process through operational efficiencies in Salesforce, training calls
  • Collaborates with involved stakeholders to identify solutions for common Quote to Cash errors
  • Maintains Dashboards and Drives Analytics to inform priority of enhancements and process revision 
  • Supports ongoing team and cross-functional projects and initiatives as assigned


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience with CRM (Salesforce) based Deals Analytics, Global Contracting, and Business Operations
  • Demonstrated success with the Enterprise SaaS, LaaS, B2B and B2C Industry - Deal Desk, Order Management, Logistics, Finance Operations, Legal, Sales Operations or Pricing experience preferred
  • Strong quantitative skills and highly proficient in Google Workspace, MS Excel, Salesforce.com
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition and business rules for hardware sales and order operations in ERP systems 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a self-directed manner, work in a deadline oriented environment, with schedule flexibility specifically during End of Month, End or Quarter

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in CPQ and/or CPQ implementation highly desirable 
  • Experience in both Direct and Channel Sales model is highly desirable
  • Salesforce Administration
