Data Governance & Quality Specialist

This role combines multiple skillsets to improve and ensure the quality of the data collected:

  • Relationship Management - maintain and build relationships with key contacts across the organization
  • Change Management – work with teams so that the consistency and quality of data
  • Data Management – understand and communicate what is needed ensure data quality


What can you expect?

This role will focus on the deployment and ongoing support of Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives within the US, including:

  • Working with Stakeholders on the standardization of data for New Submission Master
  • Working with Stakeholders on establishing Data Stewardship and Data Quality rules for Claims, Placement, and Policy
  • Partner with Stakeholders on ongoing improvements and refinements of Data Quality rules for Claims, Placement, and Policy
  •  Facilitates the day-to-day operations of the prospect/client account setup and entity matching of new and updated client/prospect business information against the global database to ensure accuracy and data reliability.
  • Provides input into the team’s work and capacity plan and identifies individual and team contribution to achieving overall objectives for performance development and evaluation purposes.
  • Comprehends quality improvement concepts including data profiling, root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement analyses to offer solutions to persistent or problems or streamline processes to streamline processes or offer solutions to persistent problems.
  • Assesses existing performance with an eye to improving the Data Management team's core processes and delivery service.
  • Works to assure the highest quality and integrity of data to support accurate, consistent, well understood and timely information and manages the resolution of complex data quality issues, i.e. integrating multiple sources of data in a cohesive manner.
  • Manages the diagnosis and resolution on all operational related client issues and complex data quality issues, i.e. integrating multiple sources of data in a cohesive manner.
  • Conducts training sessions with internal colleagues so that they are equipped with new knowledge and skills to remain current and effective in delivering to team expectations.

What makes you stand out:

  • Property & Casualty Insurance experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • CPCU designation preferred
  • P&C license, or ability to obtain
