Data Analyst, Internal Audit

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, other technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience designing, deploying large scale Data and Analytics or Business Systems solutions and working with SQL or similar tools.
Experience in product/technical program management.
Experience with implementing data workflows for SAP, Oracle, Salesforce or other financial or business systems.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience using Agile methods and practices through multiple teams (Scrum and Kanban).
Experience in Finance, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Business Intelligence (BI), Master Data Management (MDM), or Big Data Analytics.
Experience as engineer or product manager in data, systems integrations or ML and analytics.
Experience with a language for statistical computing (R, Python, etc) and forecasting (ARIMA, etc).
Knowledge of one or more data visualization tool or platform (Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

The Procurement team is a centralized team tasked with building procurement scale and efficiency while maintaining the independence and nimbleness of Google’s product team. The complexity and growth of Google’s procurement activity has increased substantially over the past few years and resulted in the formation of the Google Procurement Organization (GPO). Since last year we have been ramping up our teams and built the foundation of a full capabilities system. Our goal is to unlock value for Google to reinvest in what matters most.

You will work within the Center of Excellence (CoE) team within GPO who is responsible for enabling and ensuring a consistent approach across the entire Procurement organization through deep data insights, and agile simple processes and technology. We are looking for a Data Analyst to lead multiple data efforts in a fast growing team across platforms, analytics, and ML.

Responsibilities

Manage Product and Systems design (ideation to launch, including hypercare and steady state operations) of high impact data platform and analytics solutions.
Author data products strategy and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
Own and drive scaled and automated solutions to process automation, data governance, and product excellence.
Represent the Google Procurement Organization in steering committees and Master Data/System and Product councils across Engineering and Finance.
Act as a data platforms and Business Intelligence product manager, collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Finance, Legal, etc. as well as external vendors to realize the GPO data product strategy.
