Customer Service Manager

Tampa, FL

Johnson Brothers is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager in Tampa, Florida. This position is responsible for daily management of customer order entry, responding to customer inquiries, coordination with sales team members, as well as collaboration with warehouse, delivery, credit, and other business functions critical to meeting customer expectations.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage office personnel by delegating daily, weekly, monthly tasks.
  • Direct and oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Customer service practices.
  • Support all business processes related to timely entry and processing of customer orders
  • Enforce business rules and procedures related to customer order management
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with each staff member to determine goals, recognize achievements and identify areas of development.
  • Collaborate across business functions to address customer needs and special requests
  • Administer billbacks and goods-transfers for services for suppliers and Johnson Brothers sites
  • Resolve customer-facing issues
  • Hire, train, and develop team members
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve internal processes and service to customers
  • Lead as subject matter expert for cross-functional projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership of a customer service operations
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Strong Word and Excel experience required
  • Ability to manage competing demands, frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Ability to interact with all functional areas and organizational levels, often in stressful situations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others in challenging business circumstances
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate a team
