  • Prepare in-depth dossiers on each guest to help prepare our hosts and producers for interviews.
  • In tandem with our Head of Curation, conduct pre-interviews.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with our podcast catalog, including Masters of Scale, Meditative Story, and Should This Exist?, and a rich understanding of the signature elements of each show’s character and its target audience.
  • Strong editorial judgment.
  • 3+ years experience in talent acquisition, pitching and/or booking.
  • Extensive list of contacts, and a proven ability to find and book high-profile guests.
  • Willingness and ability to work under tight deadline pressures while juggling long-term bookings
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Benefits

This is a FT position, based in downtown Manhattan. We offer a benefits package that’s very generous and competitive with larger companies (We believe in taking care of our team.). We work long hours, but we also rest. (Our whole company closes for 2 weeks in the summer and the week between Christmas and the New Year, so we can recharge). We’re committed to diversity of all kinds — in our media properties, among our investors and on our team: women, minorities and anyone with an unconventional background are strongly encouraged to apply. And most importantly, we only hire extremely nice people.
