Cultivation Coordinator

California City, CA

As Cultivation Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and updating daily, weekly, and monthly calendars, following up with outside vendors to ensure that all projects remain on schedule, and checking on projects to ensure all deadlines are met. No prior cannabis experience is required, but a strong background in project management, construction administration, or farming is preferred. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, highly organized and motivated administrative professional to join the cannabis industry.

 

What You Will Do

  • Manage the VP, Cultivation’s daily calendar, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adjust or prioritize schedules based on last-minute; assist with other scheduling as needed. 
  • Process confidential and critical information on a routine basis with discretion, support with documents and presentations, and cross-functional work in support of Cultivation, Compliance, and Project Management team needs.
  • Prepare permit documents with high detail orientation, including tracking down needed documents from associated parties.
  • Update financial information for cultivation related projects on a regular basis
  • Execute daily requests with exceptional follow through, proactively communicate with Cultivation Leadership when tasks are complete, and items are brought to a close
  • Assist Cultivation Leadership in keeping schedule and meetings via friendly updates and reminders of calendar deadlines
  • Accompany Cultivation Leadership to various meetings to absorb job-specific tasks and create lists of to do action items for both parties
  • Email and communicate with vendors and clients
  • Takes initiative; help in other areas as needed; special projects as requested

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Understanding of Permitting and familiarity with construction regulatory processes
  • 3+ year’s senior administrative experience
  • 4-year degree preferred; and/or equivalent construction administrative experience
  • Excellent smartphone, computer, and internet skills (G-Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent reading, writing, and personal communication skills required
  • Standout organizational and prioritization skills
  • Multitasking with attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of project flow
  • Self-motivated individual with honesty and integrity
  • Can effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast- paced environment with high expectations for accurate deliverables
  • Construction project management experience is a plus
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs
