Credit/AR Manager

The Credit/AR manager will be a key member of the accounting team. You will lead key oversight and reporting elements of accounts receivable, collections, billing and the credit review. In addition, the role will be responsible for developing procedures for and to carry out accounts receivable policies, including recommendation to improve and implement internal controls.


You will

  • Develop and drive collection strategy and execution
  • Lead and oversight of commercial invoicing, collection, cash application, and aging performance
  • Ensure the efficiency of existing processes, and design and implement new processes, policies, and procedures to enable greater efficiency
  • Conduct credit checks on customers, establish and run credit limits, supervise and report on deviations from credit standards
  • Handle the accounting close for AR, internal controls and year end audit
  • Responsible for the system enhancement and improvement in execution projects
  • Participate in cash forecast, and report on trends, actuals and variances
  • In charge of the daily operations of the accounts receivable group
  • Build relationships with internal and external customers that improve the process and quality
  • Successfully lead, mentor and develop direct team members
  • Assist with special ad hoc projects as needed


You have:

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5+ years of hands on experiences in accounts receivable
  • Managerial skills and experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills!
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong prioritization, organization and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to encourage and empower team to deliver dedication and support them to reach their full potential!
  • Must be able to interface and communicate effectively with customers
