Creative Studio Manager

Remote (Canada)

We are looking for a Studio Manager to manage the delivery of multiple campaigns from discovery and planning to design and development overseeing the entire Creative Development Process (CDP) from brief to execution. You will bring structure and process to a very fluid environment, managing tight timelines, budgets, and resource management. You will support the Creative Directors in resource allocation, project management, general admin, agency portfolio, awards, and events. The ideal candidate is energetic, collaborative, and forward- thinking.


This position is based out of Toronto, ON.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as the central point of contact between the organization and the creative team, allocating projects and monitoring traffic through the department to ensure there are sufficient resources for smooth, efficient, and timely project delivery
  • Ensure that briefs are submitted correctly through the right channels, in the correct template and with the right information
  • Track requests and work with the Creative Directors to book the right resources to the right job; manage agency, freelancer, and vendor communication such as POs, SOWs, NDAs etc., making sure to get clear sign-off between key stakeholders 
  • Assist in the management of creative departments budget and spend
  • Assist in creating, implementing and optimizing the Creative Development process to fit the needs of the business and our people
  • Build and manage an overall creative calendar marking all significant (non-production related) landmarks
  • Organize program-level status updates and reporting to sponsor and stakeholders, and help facilitate regular program status meetings (including agendas, presentations, minutes, action items, and follow-up)
  • Manage the workflow and timelines for creative projects with a focus on ensuring priorities and deadlines are met
  • Additional duties as required


You’ll need to have:

  • University or College degree in a relevant field 6+ years of experience Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Project required.
  • Previous experience onboarding creative freelancers is a plus A team player mentality, capable of building and maintaining positive partner relationships with creative team and business stakeholders
  • Client facing experience is a plus 
  • Solution-oriented problem solver who can manage projects across the marketing funnel
  • Keen attention to detail and stellar time management
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines and projects
  • Flexibility and agility to work within a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Team orientated with a successful track record based on executing cross-functional projects
