Creative Director

Quimbee is a mission-driven eLearning company dedicated to providing law students and attorneys alike with top-notch resources and tools to help them excel in their legal careers. We are seeking a visionary design leader to lead our creative initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark on an entire brand, and to further define and push boundaries to evoke more interest and affinity from our users.

This position is 100% remote. All you need is an internet connection and a quiet place to work.

Reporting to the CEO, the creative director will be a strategic thinker with a keen ability to use data to inform creativity. The director will set a high creative bar for the brand, and create exciting and attention grabbing work that truly sets us apart from competitors in the eLearning space and beyond.


  • Elevate the creative expression of Quimbee's brand
  • Guide messaging and brand consistency across all of our product areas
  • Advocate on behalf of the department to persuade the company as a whole that your brand vision and creative prowess is a business driver
  • Inspire, coach, and mentor the design team
  • Partner with outside agencies
  • Provide clarity and focus for the team, while identifying and unblocking barriers to success
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and performance marketers to understand key business problems and deliver creative solutions

  • BFA from a top design program
  • 7+ years of creative design experience
  • Self starter with the ability to serve as an individual contributor while leading and mentoring a creative team
  • Proven track record of personally creating brand-defining work across channels, including all digital channels (email, PPC, etc.)
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to get to the essence of why a creative idea is important
  • Design leadership experience across the entire product lifecycle managing multiple concurrent projects and budgets
  • Strong illustration skills a must

Major Plus If You Have

  • History of working for a SaaS company
  • Past / present startup experience
  • Major bonus if you’ve worked for an online education / eLearning company
  • Experience as a remote worker.
