Creative Copywriter

Our Visual Design Team is looking to hire a talented Creative Copywriter to join their in-house creative team to support a wide variety of projects from in-app campaigns, branded events, PR communications, video scripts and much more. The ideal candidate is a big-picture thinker who is "extremely online" (knowledgable in internet culture and trends), thrives in a team environment, and possesses a confident, passionate, self-driven attitude. If you have an interest in creating fun, compelling copy, this is the job for you!


- Work closely with the visual design team's work as the dedicated team copywriter across a wide variety of projects

- Participate in briefs, brainstorms, team meetings and presentations in collaboration with Art Directors, Graphic Designers, and video editors to establish and elevate the TikTok brand voice

- Translate concepts into effective messages by writing clear, persuasive original copy

- Elevate presentations and proposals with excellent copy, narrative building

- Build actionable scripts for sizzle reels, social ads, and more

- Research pop culture and TikTok trends in order to keep the team informed and generate innovative, relevant concepts

- Research insights and demographics to understand the TikTok audience

- Champion the TikTok brand voice in long and short-form copy

- Identify copy needs and establish creative copy style guides

- Review and proofread existing creative copy for both messaging and grammar


Qualifications

- 5+ years work experience as a copywriter or in a relevant field

- Ability to edit for tone, grammar, and spelling

- Strong creative and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver quality work

- Good understanding of TikTok platform and content creation on TikTok

- Comfortable working with a variety of teams and stakeholders

- Ability to anticipate copy needs on a variety of projects

- Ability to grasp and develop the TikTok brand voice

- Positive, curious, adaptable, and open to feedback

- Ability to manage multiple projects at once to meet deadlines

- Up to speed on pop culture and trends

- Self-starter with a team mentality

- Must include a digital portfolio of related work
