Our General Offices are divided up among four Zones. In addition to our Zone offices, an Agency Home Office team responsible for strategy, finance, administration, standards, training, marketing and communications supports our agents and field managers. The Agency operation also comprises teams charged with growing our business in key market segments, including the middle-income market, the advanced (high-net-worth) market, select cultural markets, and the women’s markets. Agents sell individual life insurance, individual annuities, and long-term care insurance products, as well as mutual funds.

 

Role Overview

  • Direct national sales and the support provided to agents and managers for Disability products sold through our Agency distribution channel
  • Collaborate with Senior Vice President and other leaders to develop and execute on sales strategy 
  • Design and execute sales plans to promote business, including messaging specific sales plans and marketing activities
  • Collaborate with sales managers and key stakeholders to develop and implement action plans
  • Identify key performance metrics for zones, identify market trends, and develop targeted sales tactics for specific segments to promote business 
  • Direct, coach and manage disability team by identifying goals, developing skills, and assessing performance 
  • Liaise with underwriting, marketing, claims and service for quality support

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Life & Health, Series 6 and Series 26 must be obtained in 90 days (63 preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of disability business, market trends, and the industry as it relates to sales and field operation
  • Expert level understanding of Disability products, positioning and the industry
  • Proven track report of sales success growing disability business
  • Track record of success leading, coaching, developing, and managing a sales team of external wholesalers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert level presentation skills
