Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager

Verano continues to grow, not just in our greenhouses, but at our corporate office as well! We're looking for motivated and experienced Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager. As the TA Manager supporting corporate you will be responsible for managing the full desk recruiting process for positions out of the corporate and other satellite offices across the US. This will also include supporting other areas of the business as needed. As part of the TA management team, you will partner with TA leadership on recruitment strategies for all levels and areas of the business.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review candidate applications and identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone screens, present qualified candidates to hiring managers, and coordinate interviews.
  • Support and become an advocate of Verano’s D&I initiatives by participating in diversity networking and hiring events.
  • Organize and participate in job fairs and recruitment events as a representative of Verano.
  • Work to fill open positions across multiple corporate departments and levels, including senior level roles such as Managers, Directors, and VP's. 
  • Act as a headhunter by passively sourcing candidates on LinkedIn, internal and external databases, and through networking events. 
  • Create, maintain, and enforce Recruiting SOP’s as it relates to corporate requisitions and processes.
  • Advise and train hiring managers on how to conduct effective interviews to nurture a positive candidate experience.
  • Extend and negotiate offers in a timely manner and partner with the HR Manager to generate necessary documents.
  • Maintain regular touchpoints with high value candidates and build a strong talent pipeline. 
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, selection criteria, and job details such as duties and responsibilities, minimum and preferred qualifications, physical and mental demands, and work environment.
  • Take on special projects and create ad hoc reports for TA and HR Leadership.
  • Process staffing requisition and offer letter requests.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and job posts.
  • Act as an ATS (Greenhouse) superuser and provide support to TA Staff and HR Representative requests as needed.
  • Regularly audit and maintain candidate information within the ATS.
  • Foster long-term relationships internal business partners and senior leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent required.
  • 4 - 6 years of recruiting experience for both administrative and corporate functions, such as finance and accounting, IT, Data Analytics, Legal, etc.
  • Must be able to conduct sensitive and highly confidential conversations in a professional manner.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a fast past and dynamic environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to motivate a team and have an internal drive for success.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cannabis industry experience.
