PacSun is looking for multiple forward thinking, retail minded, creators of culture who have an appreciation for fashion and learning. The 2022 Summer Internship Program is a 10-week opportunity beginning June 13th and ending August 19th.


Responsibilities

Corporate Responsibility & Internal Culture (HR) Intern

  • Administer the company’s charitable program activities, serving as primary point of contact for external partners and internal leaders
  • Assist with the production of materials for the Be the Change Committee and Brand Marketing
  • Research best practices in corporate responsibility management and actively consult with the HR Director to make recommendations and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Assist with the coordination and production of corporate social responsibility programs and community events
  • Assist with all initiatives that support company culture and events (i.e town halls, company newsletters, and surveys)
  • Works closely with HR Director and Benefits team to plan and deliver culture, wellness, and associate engagement initiatives
  • Acts as an advocate to the brand to gather ideas
  • Responsible for coordinating, planning, marketing, and executing identified initiatives and events
  • Research, design, and coordinate implementation of company perk programs
  • Prepares documents and reports 
  • Coordinates and prepares corporate-level communications
  • Performs other related duties as required and as assigned


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates
  • Must be available to work full time schedule
  • Passion for fashion, retail, and process improvement
  • Engaging personality with exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Creative writing skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Participation in philanthropic activities is a plus
  • LinkedIn experience required
  • Ability to act as an advocate for the brand and to think outside the box
  • Basic skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), InDesign, & Photoshop
  • Intermediate experience in Illustrator

 

This program will challenge your ability to not only think critically and creatively, but also work as a team to strategize and implement solutions. Over the course of this internship, you will be presented with insight into your career path with exposure to the long-term strategies and day-to-day tasks required in your selected department. This is a paid internship ($17.00/hour), that’s right; we’re paying you to spend time with us, get some work done, and instigate a little fun while we’re at it. We look forward to meeting you!
