Corporate FP&A Strategic Planning Manager

We are looking for a FP&A Manager to lead in financial planning, process design and analysis for strategic corporate projects. In this high visibility role, you will leverage your analytical skill set and ability to solve complex problems. Lead global projects to evaluate key business opportunities for the business and process designs for operations affecting FP&A and the company in planning, performance measurement, and evaluation of investment opportunities. You will design and drive efficient processes that will enable effective allocation of resources, drive long-term growth, and evaluate trade-offs in investments and priorities. In order to successfully do this, you will communicate effectively and build strong partnerships with internal finance partners (FP&A, Accounting, Systems) and external LinkedIn partners (Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Business Operations, Product, Engineering, Data Science). This is an individual contributor role. 

   

Responsibilities:  

  • Program manage key horizontal business initiatives through scoping, planning, and execution phases; liaising with FP&A and cross functional leaders to ensure project teams deliver on milestones
  • Be a thought partner to the FP&A leadership team in ideating, framing, and presenting on key corporate initiatives
  • Prepare and present materials for leadership discussions that drive recommendations and decision against key initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal FP&A teams and cross-functional partners globally to lead and support strategic analyses to address the evolving business dynamics  
  • Partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to deliver analysis, insights, and inform direction of strategic corporate initiatives 
  • Develop complex financial models to ensure they are both accurate and updated to reflect changing business needs  
  • Take a leadership role in the coordination of the various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly/monthly forecasts, weekly outlooks, LRP)   


Basic Qualifications:   

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 
  • 6 + years financial analysis experience working directly in FP&A, Business Operations, Strategic Finance, or related environment 


Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with success partnering, collaborating, and influencing across a wide spectrum of organizations at all levels 
  • Superior organization and project management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt plans through change 
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to assemble a robust Powerpoint deck using numbers & data to support a narrative 
  • Demonstration of solid analytical and critical thinking, proven track record of exhibiting problem-solving skills
  • Ability to execute projects independently, balance multiple urgent requests, communicate effectively and respond to business needs in a hyper-responsive manner
  • Experience with process and system designs, producing efficient and effective workstreams
  • Proven experience that illustrates ability to manifest thought-leadership, foster teamwork, anticipate business needs, and manage relationships with senior stakeholders  
  • Direct experience working with Enterprise/Consumer subscription and Digital Media business models
