Corporate Counsel

Louis Vuitton is seeking an expert generalist to provide legal counsel on a variety of business and transactional matters. The focus of the Corporate Counsel will include corporate and e-commerce contracts, services agreements, and events/production agreements as well as corporate governance matters. The ideal candidate must a resourceful, collaborative team player who possesses the ability to work independently in a small legal department within a cross-functional and international business environment.

Profile

We seek a Corporate Counsel who is committed to achieving business objectives in a timely manner. This is a fast paced environment that requires a “hands on” approach without heavy dependence on outside counsel.

As a Corporate Counsel at Louis Vuitton, you will be responsible for:

Comprehensive experience in an in-house corporate environment.
Strong drafting and negotiating skills in diverse commercial agreements, event/production agreement, technology/e-commerce agreements with experience in data privacy requirements, and other contracts needed to conduct the Company’s business.
Flexibility and willingness to meet the business needs, often in a time-sensitive manner.
Willingness to research and gain a deep understanding of regulations and requirements impacting the retail business and converting that knowledge into practical guidance for the business units.

Requirement: must be currently admitted to NY Bar and in good standing
