Corporate Communications Intern
El Dorado, AR
Qualifications:
- Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, Advertising or Public Relations)
- Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
- Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Adobe products highly desired (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Publisher)
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (e.g. PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of graphic design is a plus
- Experience with video editing software or platforms is a plus
- Self-starter, good time management and creative, with ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Ability to work well independently, and within a team
- Commitment to continuous improvement and the organization?s mission
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day communication efforts and channels, including managing daily communication requests, the weekly newsletter and digital campus screens
- Work cross-functionally to support departments and teams across the organization with their communication efforts (e.g. Home Office events, Technology Services initiatives, platform rollouts)
- Support Corporate Communication forums, including monthly videos, quarterly Town Halls and quarterly Director Forums
- Provide communication support to special projects and initiatives, as needed
- Participate in committee meetings and associated efforts for the United Way Campaign and the El Dorado Shootout
- Assist with building out a central hub for all communications and initiatives (to serve as an interim intranet)
- Maintain strong partnership with Learning and Development, QuickChek Comms Team, Communication Network and Engagement Ambassadors
- Assist with QuickChek communication efforts as needed
